In Cairo, the bustling streets and iconic pyramids of Giza juxtapose with the serene waters of the Nile in Alexandria, where Greco-Roman relics echo Egypt's Hellenistic past. The Nile cruise offers a tranquil voyage through millennia of history: Luxor's temples and tombs reveal the grandeur of ancient Thebes, while Edfu's Temple of Horus stands remarkably intact. At Kom Ombo, the dual temples dedicated to Sobek and Horus captivate with their unique architecture, and Karnak's vast temple complex astounds with its sheer scale and intricate hieroglyphics. Each stop unfolds a chapter of Egypt's storied civilization, blending antiquity with the rhythms of modern life along the Nile's timeless banks.
Day 1, Mon: Cairo
After arrival formalities, meet your guide who will escort you in a luxury A/C vehicle to your chosen hotel. On route you will be given all the practical information about your tour. Check in and relax. This evening.
Option: Excursion to the Sound & Lights show in the Pyramids area
Day 2, Tue: Cairo (Giza)
Breakfast in the hotel and pick up by your guide to visit one of the remaining Seven Wonders of the World, the ancient Pyramids of Giza. These amazing structures, each dedicated to a different Pharoah are a testament to how rich and the important the Egyptian Civilization was 4000 years ago. Meet their guardian the Sphinx and try and unravel her enigmas before wandering through the Valley of the Temple. In the afternoon continue to Memphis, one of the oldest and most important religious cities of Lower Egypt to visit its open-air museum which testifies to the importance of this ancient city, then onwards to Saqqara the necropolis of the city and site to the very first pyramidal constructions, including Djoser's famous Step Pyramid. Return to the hotel for overnight [B]

Day 3, Wed: Cairo (The city)
Today is free to rest and relax, continue to discover Cairo on your own or take some optional tours. [B]
Day 4, Thu: Cairo (Alexandria)
Early departure by the desert road towards Alexandria the second biggest city in Egypt, known as the “pearl of the Mediterranean”. Alexandria is a mishmash of all of the cultures that have lived here. Egyptians, Romans, Greeks, Jews, Arabs, Turks, French and British all have their stamp on the city. Named after Alexander the Great, Alexandria was the gateway to the Mediterranean, a sprawling port city with its famous lighthouse and renowned library. On arrival we will start by doing a panoramic tour of the city’s main sights such as the Montazh Gardens, Roman Amphitheatre, Corniche and Fort Qtbaiy. Then, we’ll take a closer look inside the Catacombs and the Pompey’s Pilar before ending our tour inside the New Alexandrian Library for an amazing visit where you will learn about the history of the ancient Library of Alexandria and the stages of the new library’s revival. After some free time for lunch, we will take the road back to Cairo. [B]
Day 5, Fri: Cairo, Aswan (Philae, Felucca Ride)
After breakfast, you’ll be driven to the airport to board your flight to Aswan. On arrival meet your guide who, on the way to your cruise boat, will take you to visit the Temple of Isis on the Island of Philae. Then, board the cruise and have lunch on board. In the afternoon, enjoy a gentle sail around the Nile Cataracts on a Felucca and see the Elephantine Island and the Mausoleum of Aga Khan. Return to the cruise for dinner and overnight. [B/L/D}
Day 6, Sat: The Nile (Aswan, Kom Ombo)
Free morning to relax, enjoy life in Aswan or take one of the optional tours. Lunch on board and afternoon arrival to Kom Ombo. Visit these unique twin temples dedicated to Sobek, the Crocodile God and Horus, the God of Light, both Gods considered to be so strong they needed separate temples. Bargain a souvenir in the bazaar on the way back, as tonight we will have a Djellaba party and dinner on board. [B/L/D]
Option: Temple of Ramses II in Abu Simbel
Those wishing to get up very early in the morning (3:00 am) have the opportunity of an immersive experience in pharaonic Egypt during this optional trip to Abu Simbel*. Pick-up your picnic breakfast box and take a trip through the Nubian Desert, the most eastern of the Sahara desert, until you reach Lake Nasser. Here Rameses II built his greatest temple, raised as a demonstration of his power after the victory at the Battle of Kadesh. The Temple of Abu Simbel, carved into the mountainside and presided over by 65-foot-tall statues of the pharaoh is an astonishing vision! After the visit of the temples dedicated to Rameses II and his wife Nefertari, return to Aswan for a lunch on board.
Option: Visit to the Temple of Isis
After breakfast, take an optional tour to The Temple of Isis in Aswan, also known as Philae Temple, a majestic ancient Egyptian temple complex situated on an island in the Nile River. The temple is renowned for its beautifully preserved reliefs and structures, reflecting the Ptolemaic and Roman periods of Egyptian history. Visitors to the temple can explore its courtyards, sanctuaries, and hypostyle halls adorned with intricate carvings depicting mythological scenes and religious rituals dedicated to Isis.
Day 7, Sun: Nile River (Edfu, Luxor)
After breakfast on board, we’ll take a short drive to visit the Edfu Temple, dedicated to the avenging falcon-headed and double-crowned God Horus, considered to be the best-preserved temple in all of Egypt and the site of the battle between warring Gods Horus and Seth. After lunch on board, we continue to sail down the Nile towards the lock at Esna. Take advantage of the lazy afternoon on board to watch the Nile float by. Known as the Father of Rivers, its waters give life to over 80% of the Egyptian population. Late afternoon arrival to Luxor and visit of the Temple of Luxor where Alexander the Great was crowned king of Egypt. Dinner on board. [B/L/D]
Day 8, Mon: Nile River (Thebes, Valley of the Kings)
We start the morning by travelling to the Valley of the Kings here we will visit three of the amazing decorated tombs before continuing through the valley to reach Deir el-Bhari site of the temple dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt’s only female pharaoh. Then we continue to the Theban necropolis for a photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon. Finally, visit the stunning Karnak Temple’s complex, Egypt’s largest religious compound. In the afternoon, well transfer you to your hotel for check-in and overnight. [B]
Day 9, Tue: Luxor
Today is a day at leisure to rest and relax or discover the delights of Luxor once the capital of the Egyptian Civilization. You may, also, take optional tours like an early morning air balloon flight over the temples, an excursion to see the stunning temples of Abydos and Dendera where the Egyptian zodiac was found or simply enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride, wander around the local souk and soak up the slower pace of life that is part and parcel of living in southern of Egypt. Overnight at the hotel. [B]
Day 10, Wed: Luxor, Cairo
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. At the designated time our guide will drive you to the airport to board the flight back to Cairo. Arrival and reception by our staff for your transfer to the hotel. Rest of day at leisure. [B]
Day 11, Thu: Cairo (Old City)
Start the day with a visit of the NMEC (Museum of Civilizations). This recently opened museum relates the history of all the cultures that have lived in Egypt from prehistoric times through today and gives a fascinating insight into all the cultures that make up today’s Egypt. Visit the newly opened mummy hall, a specially designed area recreating the atmosphere of the Valley of the Kings’ entrance where 18 mummies of Royal blood were discovered just over one hundred years ago. Then we will take a wander through Medieval Cairo to see the Fortified Citadel home to the rulers of Egypt for over 700 years and its stunning alabaster Mosque before we will stop off at the Coptic Quarter of Cairo to see the famous churches where the Holy Family reportedly took refuge in the exile from Israel. Return to the hotel and overnight. [B]
Day 12, Fri: Cairo, USA
Breakfast in the hotel. At the designated time, transfer to the airport to take the flight back home. [B]
