King Fahd's Fountain, a prominent Jeddah icon, jets seawater to heights exceeding 985 feet, creating a dazzling spectacle at night. Day 1: Jeddah
On arrival at Jeddah Airport, your driver will welcome and assist you and transfer you to your chosen hotel. Rest of the day is free to rest and relax.
Day 2: Jeddah (Explore the city’s history)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before your full-day tour of Jeddah. Start at the Taybat Museum for a fascinating look into Jeddah’s long and cosmopolitan past and admire a superbly curated representation of the city’s 2,500-year history. Located in the Al Faisaliyah district, the museum is housed in a multiroom complex that recreates the traditional Hijazi architecture of the old city, with bay windows overlaid with intricate wooden lattice work and ornate coral masonry. Continue your tour to the Floating Mosque (Rahmah Mosque), built in 1985 on Red Sea, with its foundation planted under the surface of the water. The mosque is marked by its bright white color and its turquoise dome which paints a wonderful scene, especially when the sun shines on it to reflect the beauty of its architecture combining Islamic and traditional. The beauty of the mosque is not limited to its construction, it is also equipped with advanced sound and lighting technologies to complement the serenity and extreme beauty that distinguish it from other mosques. Continue along the coast to have a close view of King Fahd’s Fountain visible from all across the city. This much-loved 30-year-old Jeddah landmark built in the middle of the Red Sea, decorates Jeddah’s sunset. The magical scene provided by the fountain is distinguishes Jeddah from any Middle Eastern city. To end the day, we visit Al Balad Quarter, also known as “Historic Jeddah”, a place that gathered people from all cultures and walks of life throughout the ages. This part of the world unveils a human heritage whose walls challenged different historical factors with eight gates; each known for its historical significance. In addition, it holds more than 10 ancient houses praised for their distinctive designs and the names of their ancient families. This photogenic place is a sight that you will never forget!
